Nagaland: Restrictions on heavy vehicles in Kohima; Check rules here

Dimapur: The Kohima police will impose restrictions on heavy vehicles to facilitate the smooth flow of traffic and ease traffic congestion in Kohima town with immediate effect, it was stated in an official release.

Kohima superintendent of police Manoj Kumar, in an order, on Tuesday said heavy vehicles will be restricted to ply in the town from 8 am to 6 pm.

The order said entry of heavy vehicles into Kohima will be restricted at Khuzama police check gate from 8 am till 8 pm.

It said heavy vehicles coming up towards Kohima from Dimapur side will be restricted at Chapru from 7 am to 5 pm.

Entry of heavy vehicles into Kohima town will be restricted at By-pass traffic police booth from 8 am till 6 pm.

The restrictions will remain till further order.
