Vehicles seized by NSF volunteers during the early hour of the statewide bandh on NL 10 and NL 11 registered vehicles on Monday Morning.
The bandh was jointly called by NSF and ENSF against the State government’s inaction to mainstream
the SSA-RMSA teachers of 2010 and 2013 batches into the State Education cadre.
Earlier, they said that the agitation will be in the form of a state-wide ban on movement of government registered vehicles from October 12 onwards.
“However, vehicles on duty for medical services, administration, police, fire and emergency
services will be exempted from the purview of the agitation,” it added.
The ban on movement of government registered vehicles bearing NL-10 and NL-11 will be imposed till further notice from the Federations.
According to the Naga Students’ Federation-NSF, all seized vehicles in Kohima will be
sent to Solidarity park and will be released only after the state government comply with the demands of the two federations.
