KOHIMA: Nagaland's newest district Noklak has received the Centre's nod for a 50-bedded district hospital.
Neiphiu Rio, chief minister, Nagaland has expressed his gratitude towards the Centre for approving the 50-bedded district hospital in Noklak.
CM Rio has thanked Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare Dr Harsh Vardhan and wrote to his Twitter, "I express my gratitude to @drharshvardhan, Honourable Minister for @MoHFW_INDIA for approving a 50-bedded district hospital at Noklak; the newest district of Nagaland. This will greatly help the citizens of the district access quality healthcare services."

Noklak is the newest and 12th district of Nagaland, inaugurated by CM Rio on January 20 this year.
Rio termed the Noklak district as “Frontier district”, as it located along the international border with Myanmar.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the district, Rio hoped that the frontier district will set a good example and cooperate with the government for all-around development.
