THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb today said the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will this time overthrow the “fascist, intolerant and attacking government” in Kerala.

Deb, who recently raked up a row stating the Union home minister Amit Shah was looking forward to for BJP governments in Nepal and Sri Lanka, said the BJP-led NDA was certainly going to form government at the last Left-ruled state Kerala.

Claiming that the BJP-led NDA was in a strong position to make a qualitative change in the state's administration, he slammed the ruling CPI (M)-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) and the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) for their “misrule” in Kerala.

He is in Kerala as part of the BJP’s election campaign.

“The days of fascist, intolerant, and attacking Govt of Kerala are over now. Violence or hypocrisy won’t save them. Join hands, support the visionary leadership of PM Modi for all round development of state. I am in Kerala on campaign spree today. Kerala will vote for Vikas NOW!” he tweeted.

Deb expressed optimism that the NDA would be able to repeat its spectacular victory in Tripura, where it ended the CPI (M)'s 25-year reign of “misrule”.

“Spoke about the various transformative measures undertaken by @BJP4India Government in Tripura during a Press Conference in Trivandrum today. Just like the people of #Tripura ended the misrule of Left 3 years ago, urge my friends of Kerala to end the rule of LDF in the state,” he added in his tweet.

Deb will be accompanied by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union home minister Amit Shah, defense minister Rajnath Singh and Union textiles minister Smriti Irani later this month at the party's campaign. Another prominent figure predicted is BJP national president JP Nadda.
