NDRF Team Deployed at Indo-Nepal Border to Screen for Coronavirus

Kathmandu, March 9, 2020:

An expert team of NDRF has been deployed at the India-Nepal Border in view of Coronavirus outbreak.

High alert has been declared on the Indo-Nepal border in view of the feared virus, which has claimed more than 3,888 lives globally.

It may be mentioned here that the SSB personnel used to investigate every citizen coming from Nepal to India till now along with the Health Department. However, given the suspected presence of Corona in Nepal, the expert team of NDRF has now been deployed on the border.

The NDRF personnel will also work to spread awareness on the border with the screening of every human coming from Nepal.
