Budgam attack: Injured ASI of CRPF succumbs

An armed forces personnel was killed and his rifle snatched after militants attacked armed forces party in Keisarmulla area of Chadoora in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday.

Official sources informed that the militants attacked 117 BN of CRPF party in Keisarmulla, injuring one ASI of CRPF identified as NU Badole. Before escaping from the spot, militants also managed to snatch AK-47 rifle and magazine from the ASI.

Soon after the attack, the injured officer was shifted to 92 base hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Meanwhile, the whole area has been cordoned off to the nab the attackers.
