KOKRAJHAR: Former National Liberation Front of Bodoland, M Batha and other members of the outfit that laid down arms on Friday has expressed gratitude to the Himanta Biswa Sarma-led Assam government for establishing long-term peace in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) as well as the entire state.

"We firmly believe that under the leadership of a dynamic Chief Minister like Himanta Biswa Sarma, the Bodo community along with other tribes and indigenous communities would witness their needs and grievances resolved pragmatically,” said NLFB.
