GUWAHATI: K4 Kekho, the prominent rapper from Arunachal Pradesh who shot to internet superstardom in 2018 with ‘I am an Indian’, a song that focuses on the concept of patriotism among the Northeast Indians will now be part of the Bollywood movie ‘Bhediya’ which will be shot in his native state.
‘Bhediya’, directed by Amar Kaushik, starring Bollywood actors Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, the movie will be shot in Ziro, Lower Subansiri district, Sagalee, Papum Pare district, and parts of Pakke Kessang district.
The cast and crew has already reached the frontier state. Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, director Amar Kaushik and other crew members of the movie met Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu at the latter’s office in Itanagar on Wednesday.
Khandu further added that he was happy to know that they are enjoying their time in the state and are also keen on promoting it as a popular film destination.
He also shared more pictures with the director and said it was lovely to meet him. Khandu also stated that Amar grew up in Arunachal and that his father was a forest ranger at Indian Forest Service(IFS).
According to reports, Kekho was approached by the director Kaushik himself. The good news — that Kekho will be involved in the music production for the movie — has been revealed officially.
