IMPHAL: In the past 24 hours, Manipur recorded 730 new cases of COVID-19 followed by Tripura (449), Arunachal Pradesh (249), Meghalaya (560), Sikkim (215), Assam (5347), and Nagaland with 304 cases.

Here's the state wise report on COVID-19 update of the past 24 hours:

MANIPUR:

Manipur registered 730 new COVID-19 positive cases in the past 24 hours, the state's largest number of cases in a single day, state's COVID caseload stands at 39,052.

Meanwhile, 10 more people infected with COVID-19 have died, bringing the death toll to 562.

Manipur currently has 6,215 active cases with an 82.64 percent recovery rate.

TRIPURA:

Tripura records 449 new cases of COVID-19 in 24 hours, the majority of infections were detected in Agartala. The state's COVID caseload has reached 40,052.

On the other hand, the state recorded three deaths related to COVID-19 taking the death toll to 426.

A total of 35,338 COVID patients have recovered in the state so far. The state currently has 4265 active cases.

ARUNACHAL:

Arunachal Pradesh recorded 249 new COVID positive cases and one person died due to COVID-19.

199 patients had recovered and were discharged on Saturday.

MEGHALAYA: 

At least 21 people infected with the virus have died in the past 24 hours, bringing the state's death toll to 301.

However, fresh single-day cases saw a slight dip, with 560 infections being registered during the period, bringing the state's cumulative number of the infection to 22763.

The state currently has 4,338 active cases, while 215 people recovered from the disease, bringing the total number of people who have recovered to 18,124.

SIKKIM:

Sikkim reported five more COVID-19 deaths in 24 hours, bringing the death toll 203.

The state reported 215 new cases of the virus during the period taking the state’s COVID-19 caseload to 11070.

Sikkim currently has 3012 active cases, while 201 patients recovered from the infection.

The total number of recoveries in the state stands at 7647.

ASSAM: 

Assam in the past 24 hours recorded 63 more deaths related to COVID-19 taking the death toll to  2123.

During the period, the state reported 5,347 fresh cases pushing the tally to 3,24,979.

Assam currently has 44,008 active  COVID-19 cases, while a total of 2,77,501 people have recovered from the disease so far.

NAGALAND: 

Nagaland in the past 24 hours reported 304 fresh cases of the infection, and six people succumbed to the infection.

With the fresh cases the state's total caseload reached 17853, while with the new fatalities , state's death toll reached 196. Active cases rose to 3985.
