NSCN (K) cadre apprehended by security forces in Dimapur

A joint team of police and paramilitary forces arrested a National Socialist Council of Nagaland NSCN (K) cadre near Naga United in Dimapur.

Based on specific intelligence input, security forces launched an operation and apprehended the cadre. The apprehended cadre was reportedly on a extortion spree in the area. Security forces recovered one 9 mm pistol along with magazine, two unused booklet, 13 leaves of a booklet, 23 loose extortion slip, seven GPRN assignment letter signed by V Iheto, Secretary Union Territory and one mobile phone from the possession of the cadre.

The apprehended cadre along with recovered items have been handed over to Diphupar Police Station for further investigation.
