Over 1.3 lakh COVID-19 patients recovers in Assam till now

1817 patients were cured and discharged in Assam on Tuesday, state Health & Family Welfare minister Himanta Biswa Sarma informed. The state’s total recoveries have now touched 130947.

The minister have asked the people to eat healthy and take proper rest to boost immunity.

Meanwhile, the active cases have reduced to 29857.

2073 active coronavirus cases detected out of the 29647 tests done on Tuesday taking the active caseload to 31674.

The total caseload of the state is 161393.

Out of the new cases, Kamrup (Metro) reported 344 cases, Dibrugarh 168, Jorhat 166 and Golaghat 125. The positivity rate has increased to 6.99 percent.
