PHC Golakganj awarded with National Quality Assurance certificate for a year

DHUBRI: The Central Government has issued a National Quality Assurance certificate to Golakganj Block Primary Health Centre (PHC) for a year.

It may be recalled that on August 23, 2021, a team of monitors from the Union Health Ministry evaluated various aspects of Golakganj BPHC through virtual means.

This was informed by the Union Health Ministry Additional Secretary Vikas Sheel in a letter to Samir Kumar Sinha, Principal Secretary, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Assam.

The PHC has managed to score 92.66 percent in the rating.

The health centre is 100 percent towards protecting the privacy and dignity of patients, 100 percent towards financial management, 100 percent marks have been scored in terms of delivery care, 100 percent marks for patient and staff satisfaction.

According to the department, the health center's outpatient department received 90%, the maternity room 92%, the laboratory 81%, general administration 83%, the national health programme 88%, and the indoor department 85%. The Golakganj Block Primary Health Centre department meets the Dhubri district administration and health department's goal for hardships.

Deputy Commissioner Anbamuthan M. P. has expressed his satisfaction over the achievement of the BPHC and he said the recognition would encourage the district health department to provide better healthcare facilities to the mainland as well as the remote areas of Dhubri.
