Pradyot Manikya to provide Rs 20,000 each month to help poor tiprasa people in Tripura

AGARTALA: TIPRA chief Pradyot Manikya to extend financial help for the Tiprasa people of the state every month starting from December, 2021.

He will provide Rs 10,000 to the each district units of TIPRA Women Federation (TWF) and Youth TIPRA Federation (YTF) to help poor tiprasa people irrespective of political party.

Releasing a video, Pradyot Manikya said,  "I would offer financial assistance to our poor Tiprasa people for the sake of our 'dopha.' I will send the aforementioned sum to the TWF and YTF district units starting in December 2021. And I will continue to send the money till my last breath."

" I am starting from Rs 10,000 now, but will surely increase the amount in the near future if good days come, "he added.

He also stated that the money he will be sending is from his personal fund,  and not that of government fund.

The TIPRA chief further asked all the district units of the TWF and YTF to send their bank details to their office to receive the amount every month.

The money will given to help the needy Tiprasa.

For example if someone died in someone's house, or somebody is facing serious health issues and unwell, the TWF and YTF may extend help to such families providing ration an all with this money, Manikya explained.

He further urged the units not to do politics or any kind of inappropriate act with this money and to only use them for helping poor tprasa people.
