President Kovind suffers chest discomfort; undergoes check up

NEW DELHI: Indian president Ram Nath Kovind visited the Army hospital (R&R) in Delhi this morning after complaining of "chest discomfort."

The 75-year-old Kovind had undergone routine check-up and was under observation, the hospital authorities said. His condition is stable now.

"President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind visited Army Hospital (R&R) in New Delhi following chest discomfort this morning. He is undergoing routine check-up and is under observation. His condition is stable," said a medical bulletin by the Army R&R Hospital.
