Rakesh Paul, Basanta Doley denied bail

Guwahati (Assam), Aug 30, 2018:

A special court in Guwahati has denied bail to the arrested former chairman of Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) Rakesh Kumar Paul and APSC member Basanta Doley on Thursday.

The accused duo had sought bail in connection with a case registered with Bhangagarh Police Station. They were arrested earlier in connection with the multi-crore rupees cash-for-jobs scam in the APSC.
