Rock Legends Parikrama to Showcase Beauty of Arunachal in Upcoming Music Video

New Delhi rockers Parikrama, one of the oldest and most influential bands in the country, are all set to is all set to showcase the beauty of the Mechuka valley in Shi Yomi district of Northeastern state Arunachal Pradesh in an upcoming video called 'Tears of the Wizard'.

A six-second teaser for the upcoming video has been released on YouTube, and the snippet promises that the song will be on the heavier side and will trace the heavy metal roots of the popular band.

Meanwhile, the Arunachal administration has thanked the band for choosing Arunachal as the shooting site of its upcoming video. The Arunachal Pradesh government wrote on its official Twitter handle: “Thank you Parikrama for choosing Arunachal Pradesh to shoot “Tears of The Wizard”, which is their second official video after “But it rained”. The song has been shot in the scenic location of Mechuka.”

It is to be mentioned that the renowned band Parikrama and the Northeast have an almost three-decade-old relationship and the band has performed in the region numerous times.

It may be mentioned that the six-piece band, formed in 1991, has Nitin Malik as the lead vocalist, Sonam Sherpa as the lead guitarist, Saurabh Choudhary as the backing guitarist, Subir Malik on the mouth-organ and synthesiser, Gaurav Balani as the bass guitarist and Srijan Mahajan on the drums.
