Rs 5,000 to plasma donors offered in Dibrugarh

In order to encourage Plasma donors at Assam Medical College & Hospital (AMCH), Dibrugarh, Shree Marwari Natya Samity and Dibrugarh Press Club in association with Dibrugarh District Administration are going to felicitate the Plasma heroes.

Shree Marwari Natya Samity and Dibrugarh Press Club with the help of well wishers of the society are going to offer Rs. 5000 each to first 100 plasma donors who donates plasma at the AMCH starting from September 10. A discussion was held in this regard on Tuesday between the Deputy Commissioner, Dibrugarh with the delegation of Shree Marwari Natya Samity led by president Kailash Bagaria, vice president Kailash Dhanuka, secretary Nirmal Garodia,  Anil Poddar, Secretary, Dibrugarh Press Club and social worker Ajit Bajaj.

The Deputy Commissioner appreciated the initiative taken by the organizations to encourage plasma donors. The district administration has formed a team of five members to coordinate the project led by Additional Deputy Commissioner Dipu Kr Deka, Tufan Gogoi, District Media Expert, Natioinal Health Mission, Anil Poddar, Secretary, Dibrugarh Press Club, Kailash Bagaria, president, Shree Marwari Natya Samity and social worker Ajit Bajaj including the members of AMCH Plasma bank.

It has been appealed to every eligible plasma donor to come forward for the noble cause. Help and cooperation from all social organisations, well wishers and people at large have been sought to make the project a success.
