RANGIA: Bhabesh Kalita, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Rangia Constituency in Lower Assam, today called on voters to foil Badruddin Ajmal's "dream of becoming chief minister."

"Never let Ajmal's dream of occupying Dispur be fulfilled. In time, the people will see that and it is through the faith and confidence of the people in the BJP party that the government will be formed again," said Kalita, on the campaign trail.

Although the BJP leaders have time and again alleged that the grand alliance deigns to install Ajmal as the next chief minister. Ajmal himself, however, has categorically denied the claims.

Claiming that the BJP party "has got love from the people across the state", Kalita exuded hope that the party will be able to accomplish its "100 plus mission."

"The people have embraced me in the Rangia assembly constituency, and I am convinced that there are no candidates who can challenge me in the constituency. I personally will win with more than one lakh votes," he added.
