Sanjay Dutt returns home after winning battle against Cancer

Mumbai: Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt who was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and recently flew to the United States to seek treatment for his ailment on Wednesday announced that he has finally defeated the disease.

Dutt thanked his fans and well-wishers for their tireless support in his journey. According to reports, the actor was suffering from Stage 4 Lung Cancer.

The 61-year-old actor shared this news on his Twitter handle on the day of his daughter's birthday.

The actors' announcement was also followed by a report from the doctors who helped him recover. The doctors confirmed that the actor had indeed defeated cancer and is now in remission.

The son of actors Sunil Dutt and Nargis Dutt made his acting debut in Box-office super hit Rocky in the year 1981, which was directed by his father and was last seen in Mahesh Bhatt’s movie Sadak 2.

Dutt has 'Shamshera' coming up in which he will be a co-star with Ranbir Kapoor, who assayed Sanjay in his biopic.

He also has 'K.G.F Chapter 2' in the lineup and also committed to Ajay Devgn’s 'Bhuj: The Pride of India.' Finally, some good times ahead for fans of the beloved actor!
