7 ULFA cadres surrenderred in Tinsukia

Tinsukia, March 19, 2019:

Seven cadres of the rebel outfit, United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) have surrendered before police in Tinsukia district on Monday ahead of the ensuing Lok Sabha election.

The cadres have been identified as self-styled Surgent Barun Asom, self-styled Lance Corporal Sourav Asom, self-styled Lance Corporal Utpal Asom, self-styled Lance Corporal Basanta Asom, self-styled Lance Corporal Ninja Asom, Mazid Moran and Shekharjyoti Asom.

The cadres surrendered one AK-47 rifle along with five live round cartridges, three MQ along with 11 magazines, two HK along with eight magazines, 11 grenades and 804 RDX before the Tinsukia Superintendent of Police (SP) Shiladitya Chetia.
