Sikkim: 26 students of Kapinzal Children's home test positive for COVID-19

GANGTOK: A total 26 students of Kapinzal Children's home , Ravangla in Sikkim has been tested positive for COVID-19.

Reportedly they have been shifted to Namchi Covid Care Center.

The third wave of COVID-19 is claimed to affect children predominantly as stated by some experts. This has created an atmosphere of panicky among parents nationwide.

Recently health authorities in another northeastern state Assam have disclosed on that 34,606 children under 18 years of age have been infected with Covid19 since April this year when the second wave of the pandemic began in the state.
