GANGTOK: Indian archer Tarundeep Rai has bowed out of the Tokyo Olympics 2021 after losing 6-5 in Men’s Individual Round of 32 in a thriller to Israel’s Itay Shanny Archery.

Rai got off to a shaky start in the Olympics, going 7-8-9 in the first set, with the Israeli taking the two points. In the next round, Tarundeep beat Shanny’s 8-9-9 with a 10-8-9.
