GANGTOK: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Sikkim on Sunday expressed its regret on the hardships faced by the adhoc teachers and appealed the state government to address their issues within 48 hours.
It needs to be mentioned that the schools in the state are reopening from today.
“We express our regret and we want the government to resolve this issue within 24 hours or maximum of 48 hours and give justice to them, “State BJP spokesperson Dr. Raju Giri said in a press meet held yesterday.
“If nothing happens (on our request), we will again come for a press meet on September 8 in a more serious manner, this message we want to give to the government,” Dr. Giri added.
