Sikkim: Two minor girls rescued from Haryana

In a challenging mission of rescuing two minor girls who were kidnapped on 14th August 2020 from Gangtok, the Sadar Police team successfully traced and rescued the girls from Ambala, Haryana, according to reports.

The team led by Sub Inspector Tilak Chetrri nabbed the traffickers also with the help of Ambala Police.

A complaint of missing minor girls was received at Sadar PS on 15/8/20. The police immediately swung into action. With the help of call detail analysis, the Police could trace the location of traffickers to Ambala on 17/8/20.

A team was immediately dispatched from Gangtok. The rescue has been very challenging due to lockdowns and restrictions at multiple places. IRB Delhi also helped the team with logistics and manpower.

The minor girls and the accused have been brought to Sikkim today.
