The Supreme court transferred the Sushant Singh Rajput case on the 19th of August 2020 to the CBI after a lot of digital campaigns by the SSR fans all over the globe. Since then, the CBI has been constantly probing into Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. After almost a week of constant interrogation and investigation by the CBI team and the ED, the first big confession has been made on the 26th of August 2020 by three suspects in the case.

According to sources, Siddharth Pithani, Dipesh Sawant, and Samuel Miranda have confessed to the CBI that eight hard-disks worth of data was cleaned out by a mystery group of IT people on the day of the late actor’s ex-manager Disha Salian’s death and the same day when Rhea Chakraborty reportedly left Sushant’s house.

The recent confession raises several questions on the suicide theory that has been spread so far.

Meanwhile, a drug conspiracy angle has also come up recently after the analysis of Rhea Chakraborty’s WhatsApp chats. Now, the Narcotics Control Bureau has stepped in and also filed an NDPS case under which the actress and two other individuals have been booked. However, Rhea’s lawyer had earlier stated that she never took drugs and that she is ready for a blood test. As per reports, the actress is likely to undergo a blood test as well as a Narco test.

The ED, on the other hand, has already recorded the statement of Rhea, her father Indrajit, brother Showik, Shruti Modi, Samuel Miranda, Siddharth Pithani, personal staff, accountant Rajat Mewati, Sushant’s Chartered Accountant Sandeep Sridhar, and Rhea’s CA Ritesh Shah.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead on the 14th of June at his Bandra residence.
