Three killed during Elephant attack in West Karbi Anglong

Guwahati, December 4, 2018:

Man-elephant conflict seems to be rising as on Wednesday, three more people in Assam's West Karbi Anglong.

The deceased has been identified as Lakhi Devi, Rohit Chauhan and Purnima Thapa.

It may be mentioned that over the past few days, multiple reports of elephant invasion have come to light in Assam. One of the many reports were from West Karbi Anglong's Bagisadubi.

The elephants also destroyed huge area of cropland.
