“The CPIM is finished and don’t give them too much importance and maintain peace amongst all”, he added.

Calling their demand irrelevant, He elaborated the demand for Greater Tipraland is about a land map that encompasses areas of Assam, Mizoram and Bangladesh along with Tripura.

Even though he accepted that the party, with this demand, were able to influence the youth of the state belonging to the indigenous community which made the party win the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) elections, he criticized the party for wasting funds during elections inspired by BJP.

He also slammed the ruling BJP government for subduing the voices of opposition parties.
