SDPO Piya Madhuri Majumder said, “The autopsy has been conducted. Now the body will be cremated at the Ramnagar graveyard. The Agartala Municipal Corporation Authorities will perform the cremation and the family members of the deceased will stay at a distance who are not allowed to partake in the rituals”.
In the other incident, an undertrial inmate of Tripura’s central correctional home tested COVID 19 positive today. Soon after the accused tested positive, the Jail authorities began isolating his close contacts. No less than 10 police personnel have been sent to home quarantine.
