This should be stopped and local entrepreneurs and labor class should be assisted”.

He also demanded Rs 7,500 cash dole to every person who is out of the ambit of income tax for the next 6 months and 200-day work under TUEP and MGNREGA. Taking over from him, CPIM leaders Naresh Jamatia urged the government to resettle the Bru refugees in their own original land of Mizoram. “If they are resettled here in Tripura we have no issues but every community should have its rights to settle in the land of ancestors. And if they are settled in Tripura, the ecology of other communities and the forest cover should not be disturbed”, said Naresh. Naresh also claimed that the ADC polls must be completed in time as there could be dire consequences of unprecedented late because many powers are trying hard to mislead the tribal youth of the state.
