Truck Seized with huge quantity of Heroin at Bokajan

Based on specific reports today at Bokajan of Karbi Anglong, a 6 wheeler truck at about 5.30am was seized with a huge amount of heroin.

The truck bearing registration No AS 04 AC 5213 was stopped while it was on it's way to Guwahati from Imphal.

The police officials seized 6 packets of heroin weighing 3 kg 45 grams from inside the cabin of the truck.

One Rame Gurung age 27 and Bhim Gurung age 33 hailing from Manipur were arrested.
