US President Trump Hails Hero Dog Injured in Baghdadi Raid

US President Donald Trump has shared a picture of the US military dog which was injured during the military operation to hunt down Islamic State (ISIS) chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in Syria.

Hailing the canine’s effort on his social media handle, Donald trump tweeted, “We have declassified a picture of the wonderful dog (name not declassified) that did such a GREAT JOB in capturing and killing the Leader of ISIS, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi!” As per reports, the dog which was wounded during the operation, is doing fine.

It is to be mentioned here that the world’s most wanted man and leader of ISIS Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, is dead, after being targeted by a U.S. military raid in Syria United States President Donald J Trump on Sunday, during a press conference, stated that the dreaded ISIS terrorist, Abu Bakr al-baghdadi, had died “whimpering like a dog.”

Trump made the official announcement during a long-winded press briefing in which he described the ISIS leader’s final moments to a dog’s. “Last night the United States brought the world’s number one terrorist leader to justice. Abu Bakr al-baghdadi is dead”, Trump announced triumphantly.

Trump said that Baghdadi was cornered by US forces inside a tunnel, and he killed himself by exploding a suicide, killing two of his wives and two children in the process. The US leader further declared that

Although the US forces did not suffer any casualties, a military canine was reportedly injured in the explosion that took Baghdadi’s life.

Reacting to this, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson tweeted, “The death of Baghdadi is an important moment in our fight against terror but the battle against the evil of Daesh is not yet over.”

Baghdadi was born in Iraq in 1971 and proclaimed himself Caliph of the Islamic State in 2013.

He made his first known public appearance the following year, delivering a Ramadan sermon at the Great Mosque of al-Nuri in Mosul in northern Iraq, at which the Islamic State declared itself to be a worldwide Caliphate with al-Baghdadi at its head.
