US President Trump shifted to military hospital after COVID-19 diagnosis

The White House on Friday announced that US President Donald Trump has now been moved to a military hospital for further treatment after he and the first lady were tested positive for COVID-19.

The White House Press secretary Kayleigh McEnany informed that the President was shifted to a special suite at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, for the next few days.

In a statement, McEnany said, "Out of an abundance of caution, and at the recommendation of his physician and medical experts, the President will be working from the presidential offices at Walter Reed for the next few days."

On Thursday, Donald Trump took to his twitter to annonce that both him and the First Lady Melania Trump have been diagnosed with the novel Coronavirus. The results came soon after a close friend of the Trumps tested positive earlier.
