Voter ID Online Verification Date Extended till November 18

Guwahati, October 13, 2019:

The deadline for online verification of Voter ID has been extended to November 18.

The Election Commission of India (ECI) extended the last date from October 15 to November 18, following the slow progress of the verification process.

Considering the fact that a large number of voters had not yet verified their voter details, ECI extended the date. Besides, online forms for inclusion or correction are also yet to be dealt with before the final draft is published.

The last date for online verification in the national capital is October 31, while the date for the other states is November 18.
