Who is Nancy Phukan, Neel Akash's newlywed bride?

GUWAHATI: Ever since 'Kong Seng' singer Neel Akash got married to his longtime sweetheart Nancy Phukan in a lavish ceremony, the internet has been abuzz about his bethrothed.

So who exactly is Nancy?

 

Well, if her Instagram account is to be believed, she is an advocate by profession and a member of the Dibrugarh Bar Association, Assam.

 

Nancy, born on the 12th of January, is quite the fashionista, as is evident by her posts, where she displays a wide-ranging variety of attires -- from formal to casual to ethnic.

Maybe because of that, Nancy Phukan has a massive following on social media, with over 74k on Insta alone.

Although she is not directly involved in the show bizz, she keeps promoting Neel's latest creations via her social media presence.

Neel (real name Sanjay Das) made his debut music album “Bihuwan 2016” which includes Assamese Bihu songs and Rap songs which are nowadays called “Rap Bihu”. He also acted in many Assamese music videos. He was born on 15 November 1991.

 

On March 1, Neel Akash tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Nancy Phukan at a glittering ceremony that was held in Margherita, Tinsukia, Assam, where another crooner -- Achurjya Barpatra -- was the best man.
