Wife traps husband with marijuana to get him arrested to take revenge

FARIDABAD: A woman in Faridabad was arrested after she frames her husband planting marijuana in his auto-rickshaw to get him arrested on suspicion of having an affair.

The woman suspected him of having an affair as he was often coming home late at night and sometimes would not return at night.

This resulted in several squabbles between the couple and following several arguments, the woman decided to frame him in a police case and get him arrested.

After developing the strategy, the woman went to Delhi and purchased cannabis from a man named Pawan.

She then planted the marijuana in her husband's auto rickshaw and informed the police about the illegal drug.

According to national media, the woman has been arrested and the police have seized 700 grams of marijuana. An investigation is on to nab Pawan from whom she purchased the drug.

The man was arrested after the police were informed about the drugs.

However, an investigation revealed that the woman planted the cannabis in the vehicle.

Police arrested the woman and seized 700 grams of cannabis.

An FIR has been filed against her at the SGM Nagar police station under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

She was produced before a court and sent to jail.

Attempts to trace Pawan to arrest him is underway.
