Woman banned from visiting her 'lover' chimpanzee at Zoo

BELGIUM: Adie Timmermans, a woman in Antwerp, Belgium, claims that she had a 4-year-long love affair with a chimpanzee at a zoo.

However, the zoo banned her recently from visiting ‘Chita’ the chimpanzee. According to the authorities, Chita's closeness to Adie was resulting in no good for his relationship and bonding with the other chimpanzees at the zoo.

Meanwhile, Adie stands with her statement of being in love with Chita and claims vice-versa.

Consequently, the other monkeys ignore Chita when it remains busy with visitors and choose not to consider it part of their group. Although it is very important for animals to communicate with each other.

The authority of the zoo said, “Chita feels alone and often wanders here and there in solitude outside visiting hours.”

According to the zoo authority, Adie and Chita communicated through a glass partition inside the zoo premises. They used to blow kisses to each other through the partition.

"I love that animal and he loves me. I haven’t got anything else. Why do they want to take that away? We're having an affair, I’ll just say." Said lover Adie.
