The second match of the World Cup 2019 is underway and boy oh boy, are Pakistan in trouble! The boys in green have been bowled out for 105 in 21.4 overs after an inspired bowling performance by the West Indian team. Oshane Thomas picked up 4 wickets, while Captain Jason Holder took 3 wickets.

Trivia: In 1992 Pakistan lost the opening match to the Windies and won the tournament.

Flashback: In the first match played on Thursday at the Oval, hosts England crushed the South African team by 104 runs. Set a mammoth total of 311 by the English team, the South African side were bowled out for 207 runs in 39.5 overs.

Ben Stokes (89 off 79 balls) top-scored for England and Lungi Ngidi picked up three crucial wickets for the home side.

Reminder: India plays South Africa on June 5 in their first match of the tournament.
