Zero: Shah Rukh Khan-starrer disappoints critics, underwhelms at box-office

Guwahati, December 23, 2018:

‘Zero’, the latest star vehicle starring the ‘King of Bollywood’ Shah Rukh Khan, has failed to mesmerize critics and audiences alike. The film, which is about a vertically-challenged man from Meeret called Bauua Singh who has trouble finding a marriage partner, has failed to live up to expectations and delivered a meagre 38.36 crores in its first two days of release.

The high-profile release, also starring Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif, has also received lukewarm reviews from critics and if trends are to be believed, is speeding towards a downward spiral at the box office. It is Shah Rukh’s second dud on the trot after the disappointment of ‘Jab Harry met Sejal’.
