CBSE Board Class 10, 12 Exam Date Sheet announced

After postponing the initial announcements, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the revised datasheet of class 10, 12 pending exams.

The CBSE board exams was postponed due to the lockdown.

In a new notification, the exams will be conducted from July 1 to 15.

The HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal has tweeted regarding the dates.

The pending exams of class 12 will be conducted from July 1 to 15. The exams will be held only for 29 major papers – includes six exams for class 10 students for North-East Delhi and 12 subjects for students of class 12 to be held across the country.

The class 12 students will appear for these papers – Business Studies, Geography, Hindi (Core), Hindi (Elective), Home Science, Sociology, Computer Science (Old), Computer Science (New), Information Practice (Old), Information Practice (New), Information Technology and Bio-Technology.

The postponedment

Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on May 16 had announced the cancellation of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) date sheet.

The announcement for the complete date sheet was slated for 16 May 5PM.

As per media reports, there have been rounds of a fake WhatsApp forward claiming to be the date sheet of the CBSE board exam for 10th and 12th is being circulated.

The CBSE board exams of class 10 and class 12 were postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Students all of the country are in confusion ever since with their exams hanging due to the Covid19 lockdown. With new cases rising in India, the board exams will be difficult for the CBSE to conducted. However, the authorities have decided to formulise a schedule and announce it in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, in Assam, the state government has extended the calender years from April for the state board and will take key decisions in the upcoming months for the students of the state.
