Know requirements to enter Arunachal's West Siang district

ITANAGAR: All travellers entering Arunachal Pradesh's West Siang district must undergo a mandatory rapid antigen test (RAT) at the entry points.

People who have received the COVID-vaccine and have completed the RAT/RTP-CR/TrueNat tests within 72 hours and have their certificates will be exempted from the tests.

Those entering West Siang from the Itanagar Capital Region (ICR) must present the facilitation slip they got when exiting the ICR at the Ruksin check gate, however, those who do not have a facilitation slip will be denied entry to the district, said officials.

Returnees from Roing are required to self-isolate for one night and undergo a mandatory RAT at one of the flu clinics the next morning, according to officials.

The district administration has already instituted a curfew from 7 pm to 5 am in the district.
