11 more corona virus positive cases have been detected in Manipur. The total number of cases in the state has risen to 20.

Out of the 11 cases, 10 are from Churhandpur and 1 is from Khabeisoi. The patients have been tested JNIMS. One of the patients includes a 23 days child old.

The contract history reveals that 1 person came from Delhi, 1 from Guwahati, and 9 from Chennai.

In Northeast India: Covid19

Tripura has the highest number of positives followed by Assam. Sikkim so far has 0 home cases.

Manipur: Recent case

Two new corona positive cases have been reported in Manipur. This has taken the tally for the number of covid19 patients to 9.

One positive case of Covid19 found in Manipur today. A 22-year-old female was tested at JNIMS Porompat and found positive of COVID-19. She belongs to the Manipur’s Kamjong district.

In India

As of 20th May, India has reached 107,000* in terms of corona positives. The country currently has 61,149 active cases with 42,297 cured and discharged. The total number of deaths is 3,303. On the same day, Assam recorded 49 positive cases.

As many as +146 coronavirus deaths were confirmed in India in the last 24 hours. Among the states, Maharashtra is the first state to cross a thousand deaths. It has recorded 37,136 corona cases with 9639 cured and 1325 deaths. The western state is followed by Gujarat and Tamil Nadu. Gujarat has corona 12,140 cases with 5,043 cured and 719 deaths. Tamil Nadu has crossed 12,448 cases with 4,895 cured and 84 deaths. The National Capital with 10554 covid19 cases has crossed the 10 thousand mark on18th May. So, far 4485 have been cured in Delhi with 168 deaths.
