Sikkim Reports 209 COVID-19 cases; three deaths

Gangtok: Sikkim reported 209 new Covid cases from the 1643 samples tested on Monday in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Department.

The state's positive rate is 12.7 percent.

The east district has 83 cases, the west district has 51 cases, the south district has 72 cases and the north district has three cases.

The number of active cases in the state is 3239, according to the Health Department.

On Monday, a total of 272 people recovered from the coronavirus.

Three COVID deaths have been confirmed, all of which occurred at the STNM hospital.

Currently, 175 Covid patients are being treated in hospitals, including STNM (125), Mangan (10) and CRH (35). Among them, 14 patients are in the ICU.
