CHENNAI: After stylish star actor Allu Arjun revealed on Wednesday that he has tested positive for COVID-19 in an Instagram post,
special prayers for his speedy recovery were offered in many temples across the country by his fans.
In Twitter also, #GetWellSoonAlluArjun is trending.
Fans in Giddaluru prayed at a temple for the star’s recovery from coronavirus infection. They were seen holding a poster of Allu Arjun and, it reads ‘wishing speedy recovery, all our prayers are with you, get well soon Allu Arjun garu’.

On Wednesday, the actor said: “I’ve been isolating myself at home and adhering to all of the protocols.”
He also added, “those that have come into touch with me are urged to get checked. Stay at home, be careful, and get vaccinated as soon as possible.”
He also requested to his well wishers and fans not to worry about him.
Allu Arjun shared a statement in which he wrote: “Hello everyone! I have tested positive for Covid. I have isolated myself at home and have been following all the protocols. I request those who have come in contact with me to get tested. Stay home, stay safe and get vaccinated when you get the chance. I request all my well-wishers and fans not to worry about me as I am doing fine.”
Allu Arjun’s most recent film was ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’, in which he co-starred with Pooja Hegde.
Tabu, Sushanth, Navdeep, Nivetha Pethuraj, Samuthirakani, Murali Sharma, Rajendra Prasad, Sunil, Sachin Khedekar and Harsha Vardhan also played roles in the film.
