Assam youth stuns people with artistic talent; rides self-made wooden bicycle

NALBARI: Jituddin Ahmed a resident of Assam's Nalbari district with his immense artistic talent has come up with several items he made using bamboo and wood.

Jituddin, son of Amnir Zamiruddin and Mazida Bibi lives in West Chamta village in Nalbari,Amnir Zamiruddin.

Jituddin made the wooden bicycle that has proper pedals, chains, and brakes within a period of 10-12 days.

Besides the wooden bicycle, he made a guitar, airplane, swing, tiny houses, and many more items out of bamboo and wood.

With a passion to create something exceptional, Jituddin started making a wooden bicycle back in 2016 although he did not achieve success at the first attempt, but he did not deviate from his goal and kept working hard to achieve his goal.

How did Jituddin develop an interest in making a wooden bicycle?

Speaking to InsideNE Jituddin said, "A few years ago, there was only one bicycle that my brother and I used to ride to school. He used to ride the bicycle to school and I used to sit on the carrier. I was not allowed to ride because I was younger than him, Then I had the bright idea of making a bicycle on my own to ride to school.

Jituddin also wished to mark his name in the India Book Of Record, for which he made a tiny bicycle with a matchstick

He further said,"As the fuel price in the state has been hiked I wished to start my own business by manufacturing a transportation vehicle out of wood and bamboo."
